Although this article is from a few years ago, I thought it laid out nicely the arguments against evolution as well as the opposition to intelligent design. I know it bothers some that ID cannot by its very nature be proven, and those of us who think ID is possible are fine with that. ID is not from a scientist or theologist but a lawyer, so anyone who thinks it is either scientific or theological would be mistaken. It is what it is, a theory, one that is widely held by many Americans. As a matter of fact, this article points out that only 12% think that no God had anything to do with creating life.

So, if 88% of people believe that God had something to do with creating life, then why is it so wrong to teach ID? I still don’t understand why even mentioning evolution’s flaws is wrong.
