Minot, North Dakota flood

on July 12, 2011

Here is a link to The Conservative Hideout and a video from the flood in North Dakota.  This is happening right here in the USA, but it doesn’t seem to get much attention, now, does it?

It seems the Casey Anthony trial clogged the newsways. But theDakotans are tough folk (ever been there in January?!). Even if 12,000 of them have no homes left, the place soldiers on:" Minot · The North Dakota State Fair will be held as scheduled from July 22–July 30. Concerts, carnival and commercial exhibits will go on as planned · 4th of July festivities have been moved to Scandinavian Heritage Park. · Roosevelt Park Zoo is temporarily closed. · Travelers are advised to plan ahead and research route options, as some streets in the city currently are closed. Visit for up-to-date information and maps on road closures and detours in the area."

any LOOTING going on THERE? no.These good people are rolling their sleeves up and doing all they can to survive.I remember when Joplin's tornado destroyed the town and someone on there said "I have no home, no job, no car"…….but he wasn't complaining, he was just telling his truth and that he needs to get on with his life! Unbelievable, these Americans. Most of them, anyway.
