Interesting chart. But shouldn't the Tea Party arrow be the "Red" one?

  2. Excellent graphic, Beth!

  3. Happy Thanksgiving to you Beth.

  4. I guess you would have to call me an OWS sympathizer. I feel so sorry for anyone who is that WRONG and doesn't even realize it.

  5. Beth says:

Yes, Doug, I agree, because OWS should be yellow! Thanks, AOW, I did not create it but when I saw it, I thought it was a good representation.Mal, thanks for the good wishes, I didn't get a chance to post a Thanksgiving post this year, my Mom has been in and out of the hospital all week. I hope you had a good one!AA – always good to hear from you, and you are always spot on!

This graphic would have more credibility if it didn't read "GreaterBostonTeaParty" on it.How about a graphic with a bit more objectivity. Like oh I dunno…maybe this one?http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-wXINcnec8E0/TpQ3hFgjSbI/AAAAAAAAAX4/sX5GEf0YJsU/s1600/OWS_TP.jpg

Happy Holidays Beth. Having some e-mail issues, computer acting weird so can't respond to your e-mail today but I got it.

  8. Beth says:

Lemme guess, Soapie, Ron Paul agrees with the OWS movement.I believe you posted that image on your blog and I already addressed it, ah yes, here is what I said:"But if the government doesn't have too much power, then the middle section is not going to happen."

I draw my own conclusions Beth. I've been to the Occupy protests in Minnesota and Wisconsin.Further, if you know anything about Corporations, the structure therein, their limited liability, their privacy protections, etc. you would realize the fallacy of your statement.Big or small, corporations are granted special privileges from the government.

Further, if you know anything about Corporations, the structure therein, their limited liability, their privacy protections, etc. you would realize the fallacy of your statement.Big or small, corporations are granted special privileges from the government.Nonsense! Most of the corporations here in the USA are made up of small business that ord owned by individuals.. What you are saying is just not true. Maybe the Democrats and the Progressives want you to think that corporations are composed of big business’s and granted there are some abuses made by corporations, sure some get special privilege’s like reductions of tax’s etc. but those are far from the ordinary, and few and far from most. But to say “ Big or small, corporations are granted special privileges from the government” implies that it’s common and that is simply not true.

  11. soapster says:

When I said big or small Mal I was referring to the size and scope of government. Regardless of whether you have a large tyrannical out of control government or a smaller more constitutionally minded government, corporations are specialized entities.Corporations get these special exemptions and privileges as a result of their incorporation all of which is made possible through government. It is for this very reason that businesses so often decide to incorporate in the first place.

  12. soapster says:

Naturally it is all relative, obviously a larger, global, multi-national corporation is going to pocket a much larger windfall than is a sole proprietorship. Regardless, both are beneficiaries of a status/classification which is made wholly possible through government. And we just know how government likes to pick winners and losers.
