Crony capitalism is partly to blame.For another insight, please see my post today at Infidel Bloggers Alliance.For a long time now, I've been mulling over the various aspects and causes of the present economic depression (Yes, depression and not recession).I believe that America is in uncharted economic territory. I'm glad that I'm as old as I am. My better days are behind me in all respects, anyway.

    While there are various aspects (symptoms if you will) of this economic depression, there is only one cause as I see it.Consider the past 100 years (it'll be come 2013 so cut me some slack for simplicity's sake here) with its two World Wars and countless others, the crashes of 1921, 1929, 1989, the Great Depression of 1929 thru 1939, recessions in 1953, 1957, 1969, 1975, 1981, Black Monday in 1987, a crushing 1,000 percent inflation, destroying 90% of the dollar’s purchasing power.100 years marked by the Federal Reserve Banking system.It is the cancer.
