With little fanfare, Irai War Ends

on December 19, 2011

Whether you were ever for or against the war, the quiet ending I have found a bit sad, because many of our soldiers died in that war, and there was no treaty nor real victor. There was no presidential message given that trumped all television networks. It just…ended.

To all our military, including my niece who just started college this year under a naval scholarship, I commend you for your sacrifices and willingness to serve our country. God bless you all!

More half truths from the MSM. Out with the old, in with the new. It's unfortunate that the private contractors that'll be replacing the troops have pretty hefty salaries.

This is one conservative who felt we should never have went in in the first place.

Z, you might be the only one…And while we were there, there were few who were willing to voice their disgust about what was going on.Then once Bush left office, plenty of folks for some reason said they never agreed with him on Iraq.Maybe if they had voiced their discontent during the war, a few soldiers lives might've been spared…

"Z, you might be the only one…"Nope. There were about 35 of us that rallied on the St. Paul capitol steps in opposition to it.
