The boycott of Rush

on March 13, 2012

I’ve been busy and haven’t had the chance until now to opine.  I wonder who the lefties calling for the boycott of Rush Limbaugh think they are hurting?  If his loyal listeners accept his apology, and I think they have, then they will continue to listen to him.  If advertisers pull their ads, then they have lost that large segment of the population who used to hear about their products and get special deals for being Rush listeners.  If lefties already don’t listen to Rush, then the boycott is meaningless.  If a leftie DOES listen to him, it’s for a reason (i.e. to get sound bytes to try to make righties look bad) so if they aren’t suppose to listen to him anymore, then Rush will be able to say whatever about the lefties without their knowledge (which of course I know the lefties WON”T stay away, so they’ll instead be the typical hypocrites that they are and want you to do as they say but not as they do).

In the end, as usual, the lefties are wrong.

    Whole affair getting pretty weird

  2. Beth says:

The whole whole affair is a non-story, because what I said is true, Rush’s loyal listeners are not going to go away. The boycott is a non-event.
