The pursuit of happiness

on August 18, 2012

If it is a liberal progressives pursuit of happiness to hug a tree, I have no problem with that, go for it!  But if my pursuit of happiness involves owning a gun, paying lower taxes and trying to save the lives of the unborn, why won’t liberal progressives allow that of me?

Be happy, Beth, …you can keep your gun!

  2. Beth says:

Thanks, BB, enjoy hugging your trees.

You know Beth, I DO like my trees. I’m a midwesterner in the mountain west, so while everyone
else’s yards have Sycamores, Lindens and Pine….I have white birch, river birch, lilac, and
dogwood. Actually our whole town is full of dogwood, an eastern tree. We even have a dogwood festival (no dogwood hugging-just parades, street fairs and a home-made beer contest). Now get this: town to the north has a Lentil Festival….LENTILS!
