Five Ft. Three

I am so done with blogging

Liberals are evil and I cannot stand dealing with them any longer.

Plus, they wouldn’t know a fact if it hit them in the face, they think if they say something then that makes it the truth.

Comments were removed because I had intended on not allowing them but forgot to put that setting on, although it was pretty telling in the comment that had been left that there was no remorse for the lies she said about me elsewhere.  I don’t need this crap in my life, I have a beautiful family and a beautiful life and great friends that agree with me.

The Fake War on Women

Seriously, this site says that if we don’t want to let women spread their legs open to allow a doctor to burn an unborn child, or stick a pair of scissors to puncture the unborn child’s skull and then SUCK THE BABY OUT its mother’s womb, then that is anti-woman??

Abortion and politics

Thanks to Akin, abortion is now becoming an issue in the presidential elections.  Now if you know me then you know I always want to discuss why I think abortion should be illegal, however I think this election is about so much more than that.  Sure, I want a president who respects life, but I also want a president who respects us all enough to give us our God-given freedoms and who doesn’t treat us like children who need the constant nanny government taking care of us.

Being in a swing state

Is everyone out there getting personal political calls?  They come from actual people (sure, we gets lots of robo calls, too).   On Saturday I received 2 such calls, the first one started telling something about Romney’s plans and I quickly agreed, she asked if I was voting for Romney and I said yes, she was appreciative and let me go.  It was a local call.

The next one was long distance and was an Obama supporter.  I kept him on the phone for 15 minutes, it was fun!  He was praising Eisenhower, FDR and of course Obama, I explained how the Depression actually lasted longer because of FDR, and that social security was one of the worst things our country has done, well Obamacare could be worse than that.

He said everyone was happy when the highest tax rate was 90%, I said I don’t think people who were paying 90% of their income in taxes were too happy about that.  He said billionaires should pay more in taxes, I said guess what they do, if they pay the same percentage of their income as everyone else then their amount IS higher!  He said what do billionaires need to do with all that money, I said it really doesn’t concern me, it’s THEIR money, if they come about it legally and honestly, it shouldn’t concern anyone else how much they have or what they do with it.

He thought he could get me with the so-called “war on women’s reproductive rights”, I said sorry buddy but they have the right to not have sex if they don’t want to reproduce.  Which of course brings up the obligatory argument from the leftists of rape victims, I don’t see why I have to pay for all women to have abortions or the pill because of the rare occurrence of a rape resulting in a pregnancy.

He ended the call actually rather graciously, thanking for my time and my conversation, I likewise thanked him for his time.  He tried one last dig in that Jesus said we should help each other, I said of course we should, I just didn’t think Jesus meant to do so through the government, but rather as individuals.

It’s only August, I am looking forward to more personal calls instead of robo calls that I can actually try to help people see the light!

The pursuit of happiness

If it is a liberal progressives pursuit of happiness to hug a tree, I have no problem with that, go for it!  But if my pursuit of happiness involves owning a gun, paying lower taxes and trying to save the lives of the unborn, why won’t liberal progressives allow that of me?

50 Shades of Whatever

Am I the only one who does not like this book?  I mean, I kinda knew what it was about before I downloaded a copy from our library onto my Kindle, but I returned the book prior to finishing it.  To me, she is a prostitute, plain and simple.  And I totally figured out who “Mrs. Robinson” is without having to read all three books.  Nope, part of the first book was enough for me.  I don’t think of myself as a prude, but the main female character must have so little self-esteem or just really likes putting out for expensive gifts, it really was sad actually, I felt sorry for her.

News flash – Murder is illegal

So if murder is illegal, then nobody does it, right?  What?  No, you mean making something illegal doesn’t stop people from committing crimes?  But surely if we made owning a gun illegal, people would pay attention to that law and be upstanding citizens and the world would be a safer place, right?
